Sol Underground Wrapped
Earlier this month several of Sol’s core organizers took some time off and headed to the mountains to collectively reflect on our work in 2022 and plan for our future. We sat down and took note of our highs and low, wins and losses, and all the relationships and trust we have built in our community.
As a small and relatively young org, we have been through a lot together and have had so many changes and road blocks but we are a tenacious crew and have continued to persist through it all. This was our first year without having a physical home to go to everyday which has changed how we’ve organized over the last 13 months. Although we miss our first home and the community that helped us build Sol into the beautiful space it was, letting go of our building allowed us more freedom to focus on the people and project important to us.
Throughout this transition, we have been so inspired by our community who have supported our work, despite continued challenges and systems that are so often working against us.
As we go into 2023 we wanted to share some of our reflections and some highlights from the year!
